So yes, Yellowstone is on Fire! And not metaphorically either. We got the call about 1530 this afternoon to tell everyone that the road between Bridge Bay and West Thumb are closed because of a fire. As of this morning there was 250 acres burned. I don't think this is going to be quite 1988 redux but it is sure annoying to people who need to get to the southern end of the park.
So we have two road closures and now that means people are having a real dickens of a time trying to get anywhere.
Oh, and I want to say Happy Birthday to Daddy as he will be turning 5- on the 29th. I know what I am gonna get ya but as the park is on fire you're gonna have to wait to get it.
