Latest Visa News

I have found my passport! I knew it had to be around here somewhere and sure enough, it was in one of the bookshelves downstairs. I have my CAS and I am waiting on the lady from the university to get back to me letting me know that she has all my financials worked out. Once I get confirmation from her, I can print it up and apply for my visa.

I am anxious about reentry into the UK but, as my brother keeps trying to assure me, I ought to have nothing to worry about, I have a valid student visa.

That is the latest news on this front at least.

I cannot enter the UK on a student visa until Aug. 26 at the earliest. It's already mid-july and I need to get those financials squared away soon as it takes 3-4 weeks to get a visa approved. I do hope to be able to fly out Aug. 28 as that seems to be the cheapest date to leave.

In other news, HP 7.2 shows tonight. I've got my ticket for the 3D 12:01 showing. I cannot wait!! I know I am going to cry though.

But it is now 1300 and I need to finish getting things ready for the maids who are coming anywhere from 0845-0900 tomorrow. Ouch. I don't think I'll be getting home until 0300 sometime. Whimper.
