Just found out today that I got accepted to the University of Hull!
I am beyond excited.
Of course now this means I have to find some way to pay for it, get coops able to go to the UK, get my visa, get a good copy of my passport and send it to the university...
Oooh boy.

The first thing you need to do is e-mail the lady and tell her you are coming but are stranded out in the wilderness and don't have access to normal 21st century luxuries such as internet-on-demand, but you'll get it all done. :)
yes, this is very much true! And I shall be doing that post haste!

Is a really good article on taking a dog into the UK... but... um... I hate to say this, but it might be a lot easier on her if you could find somewhere for her to stay while you're there... (not on you, obviously!)
True.
I am going to talk to coop's vet here in cody and see what they have to say about this. It might be that I will have to leave her in CA for a while before I can bring her out. I just don't think she would do well without me for a long period of time.
If she does fine with just mom then I'd be cool leaving her in CA for the year but I don't know if she'll do the whole pining thing. And if I can prevent her from starving herself because her mommy is gone and away then I'll do what I have to do.
It'll be a pain indeed, especially since I am not sure where the original paperwork for the microchip is, if she has the right microchip they take... I am sure the vet will know all of this.
But she did get her rabies done before she got chipped and her booster's coming up this august.
I supose we shall see... sigh.
Congrats Em, hope you have a good time in the boonies then overseas :)
Thanks eddie.
I am having fun. It's been very cold since I've been here. We'll have a day, a few hours of spring and then COLD! It's still snowing and we've had our gate closed several times this past week because the pass was just too dangerous for traffic.
